There are 2 main ways of annealing your work in glass beadmaking: you can either work to the kiln or you can batch anneal. Batch annealing is where you make your beads, cool them in vermiculite or fibre blanket and then anneal them at a later date. This is an option for people who do not have their own kiln. They can make their beads and then send them to someone else for annealing.
