Bulk fuel is essentially the kit that allows you to run a Hot Head torch off a bulk cylinder of propane gas.
Propane gas is readily available from garages, garden centres and camping shops and is significantly cheaper than MAPP gas.
A bulk fuel kit will consist of the following components.
- A propane regulator, generally 4 bar, let his connects directly onto the top of the propane cylinder
- A flashback arrest or
- Some hosing, generally an orange colour
- A connector to connect the hose to the torch.
Optionally, the following kit may also be used
- A quick release connector that allows the Hot Head to be fixed to a work bench, and the propane cylinder to be easily removed at the end of a torch session.
