	A marver is a tool for shaping beads. Usually made from [[graphite]] or [[brass]]and in paddle form (well, a rectangular slim block on a wooden handle), it is really helpful to shape ends, [[tubes]], [[bicones]], or to rub fine silver [[foil]] or 24 carat gold [[foil]] onto a bead so it doesn't burn off as quickly when you put your bead back into the flame.
