It seems everybody is somewhere else (!?), so I´ll start new thread, because I this once had made beads and even taken pics... So I got a little bit carried away with the goddess beads and made a copule more after making one to Marion:

The next one I made same time as Marion´s. She is having crack in her leg. It happens to be the same side leg than my own hurting knee, so I named her The Goddess of Broken Knees. I made key chain thingie of her:

Wow Les, that middle one is gorgeous! And Lesleymac's leaf is cool, and those stars Jeanette - I haven't tried anything that complicated yet! I think they are lovely :)
I finally got back to the torch today, after more than two weeks.. I tried out some vetro odds which I swapped with Vikki - painted desert and I've forgotten the name of the other - but they're gorgeous! Thank you!
Also, I have made some more of my opal yellow and green beads..

Happy beads, and happy bowl -- love them both  ;D

I'm happy too - more dots, and the first set were such posers in front of the camera, they were a dream to photograph for once!

Oops, too big?!  Sorry!

HH EDIT: yep! have made them the max 500px :)

After faffing around for a while I have at last copper electroformed a bead. I patinated the bead and silver chain. It took a while to resourse all the materials but I like the reaction and now want to go on and do some quite industrial sized beads - this pendant is about 2" in total.
One upshot of this is that I really like the darkened silver chain.

Rachel

I'll join in today :)
Beautiful beads Rachel - I love seeing all the colours together like that.  Steph I think your lattice bowls are gorgeous, Julie - loving your dots!  I particularly like the colours in the second set.  Sherry - what fabulous beads and Sabine, that's a beautiful bead - I've only had one go at silver cores which wasn't very successful :).  I've just got one set to show - some floral buttons

TheJanie

I've finally got round to trying silver coring this week - these are my second and third attempt (the first one isn't here - little bits of glass kept chipping off but I think it was because the bead was one I made ages ago before I'd got the hang of getting them even!).

Wow, wow, wow, lovely stuff on here
Beautiful brights from Rachel, scrummy bowl from Steph (so glad you are back) and its gorgeous, I love those Julie - gorgeous colours and very funky.  Sherry - I am not surprised you are wearing these to your wedding they are absolutely stunning.  Sabine - I love the brightness of the silver core, really nice.  I like those flowers Rachel and last but not least I really like Janie's silver cores because they are so different.

Some from me then

Wow  - so many beautiful beads  :o I want them all. Spring must be in the air for some of you with all these lovely bright colours :) Mindy - I am so glad I live close to you :)  I just seem to want to make organics at the moment  ::)  - 1st pic is cim glass and electra. Pic was taken before I got new camera (which may be getting thrown out of the window very soon). Second set just some organics with I think some ask glass, and last two pics are of my first play with intense black, and more CIM colours again. I LOVE that glass :).     Nothing special, but now that I'm getting more torch time in I'm glad to be able to show something lol! (click on pic for bigger pic)
