Propane control

When I reduce my propane,for a few seconds it actually increases and then reduces.Can anyone tell me why it does this.I torch using a minor.

I have no idea, all I can say is my minor doesn't do it. Someone clever will be along shortly

I sometimes get something similar to this, but in my case, I think it's something to do with the flame rebalancing with the increased proportion of oxygen

not noticed mine doing it either but my best guess would be the initial imbalance making the flame appear different as mentioned already
