following on from the etching beads threads...i did a search but nothing seamed to come up......

...is there a way of etching part of a bead ? ........and using something that does not affect the etch all ..

Sarah

Hi Sarah

Use nail varnish to cover the parts you want to stay shiny. And its much easier if you use coloured nail varnish as you can't always see where you've put the clear  :)

thanks sarah

and remove with nail varnish remover ?

I do the same as Sarah.....most often, I just chuck the bead into water after it's been in etching fluid, and the varnish peels off, which is actually less messy than remover, which disintegrates it ;)
