Yes!  Someone wanted to buy one during arts week so I ran round the hopuse, gathered up all the others and sold out.  I make more money from mistakes than I do my good work - which is the fairies trying to tell me something?

Something I've tried with success is holding the mandrel with pliers just under the bead, then tapping the end closest to the bead with a hammer. You don't touch the bead with the hammer - obviously but the vibration is sometimes enough to shift it. Gently does it.

I still swear by the Rolson Rivet Gun, or something similar.  There's a thread about it here.  The item link doesn't work any more, but a quick google or ebay search should yield results.  I hope you get them off.

it happens to us all...the dreaded bead release fail 

give the release a good mix/stir /shake ..... i use an old mandrel to get to the bottom and sides and a broken bead in the pot can help mixing it  (lid firmly on or you will join another gang  )

its ok to add water to mix to the right consistancy but try using melted ice/distilled water as the water from your tap may well affect the balance

make sure the mandrels are clean , rinse well to remove any cleaning agent  , i use a green scrubby to give them a key to help the release stick

heat the mandrel and the release along the dip before adding glass

non of the above will stop it happening again (and it will ) but every little helps

The ones I can't get off - even when the aid of a vice and a rubber glove - I hand over to my OH.

He disappears to his shed with them so I've no idea what he does, but it involves a hammer 

They always come off then but its about 50:50 whether they break in the process.

Tried all of your great suggestions and added my own (a strong man) and saved 3 of the 10 , so I'm going to order some new bead release and take your hints on board.....I guess practise makes perfect 
Now I have to find a mail order supplier so any suggestions on best product to use and best supplier gratefully accepted.

Try putting them in the Freezer for 24 hours but remeber to use a cloth when you retrieve them....sometimes that helps when all else fails!

I'm more than happy with fusion for all my beads. You just need to make sure the mandrel isn't scruffy before it's dipped.
