Oh, good idea Lorna!

I am sure this has been asked before but here goes: bead release VS kiln shelf wash

I know bead release is thicker and sticks better - wonder if those properties are needed for fusing though?

With lamp-working beads, you're "pulling" the molten glass around, so that's putting strain on the bead release I guess?  Where as fusing, well, it just sits there.

Also, working in the flame is hotter than fusing?

I am just wondering whether I could just use kiln wash for what I need it for..... hmm, must ask brother for a few welding rods methinks!

Haven't got a clue lol!!
I always used the paper for everything as I only ever did pendants and fused beads
