I dunno Vicki, but it MAY just be worth a try giving them a little soak in Cilit Bang lime & grime version. Just a thought. Last resort and all that!

Also after I've dipped in etch all - I then plunge them in warm water with bicarb of soda - helps to neutralise the acid!

Even after mine look ok after rinsing etc sometimes they get a sort of bloom on them.  I followed Corina's tip of rolling them in my palms after I've rubbed in a small dab of handcream.  It gives them a lovely glow (and good for your hands too!).

I use a teeny amount of beeswax :)  (although the hand cream tip is probably just as effective!)
