Hi Guys,

My little pots are almost empty so I need to get a proper pot of bead release.  I've noticed that there are a couple and wonder what you guys recommend?

I don't think it will make much difference but I am on a HH just in case :)

I'm a fusion girl - I don't like fosterfire at all.

I use Foster Fire for beads over 50mm long. For smaller beads, I LOVE KRAG MUDD - it leaves minimum residues and cleans out easily! I don't think you can get it in Europe tho. It comes in 16oz bottle now!

Im currently on fusion as I had foster fire smooth and tuff and didnt get on with it at all nor with Dirty Looie. Has anyone tried Foster Fire and Foster fire smooth and tuff that would be able to tell me if they are different ??

I've used Fosterfire & Fusion, I like fusion for easier dipping but find that Fosterfire cleans out better. I have more recently though been using Dirty Looie's - I know that a lot of people didn't get along with it but I quite like it, it only works properly though if you dip your mandrels as you go, flame dry gently then heat up to glowing on the mandrel before winding the glass on. The beads come off ok too as long as you soak your mandrels for 10 mins or so before trying to remove the beads.  :)
