dark ivory??

Ok i know that dark ivory is dark than standard eff ivory, but i'm struggling to get the nice deep sandy colour out of it? I know some people get the ivory to almost "web" under heat and give off a lovely dark colour. Mine just stay a shade darker than normal ivory. What am i doing wrong?

Prolonged heating, or repeated heating/cooling can get it to "crackle" on its own. Reducing will make it go caramel. But to speed it up, add a hint of silver or some silver glass like DH glass

ahhh i see, can you tell i'm still a newbie?? haven't got any of that stuff yet, so i shall have to try super heating it!
