Oooo One very quick question.  Does anyone know how many hours a can of Mapp gas gives?

Waste of money. It's going to cost you £100 for the bulk adaptor kit (Tuffnells) and about £20 for a 6kg propane cylinder (the orange ones you see on caravan sites), but you won't have to change that cylinder for literally wekks and weeks.

A Mapp cylinder costs around £17 and will last you a couple of night's beading - about four hours?. Forget the Mapp - go for bulk propane. You'll save a ton of money in the long run. Also - you won't get pressure drop (flame gets smaller and smaller 'cos of the localised cooling), as you get on the Mapp gas.

ABSOLUTELY!!  Wot you said Sal.  I never even considered the Mapp stuff.  Got a 19 kilo of Prophane given to me...it was half empty but still lasted me several months!  Go for the bulk like I suggested originally.
