Have you thought about dropping ebj a line and asking her?

A PM to ebj is the right thing to do seeing as it is her beautiful flowers that have inspired you

Hi - I got your pm - thank you - I'll answer here for anyone wanting to know how to make these its easy -

Make your base bead -
Then put groups of  3 small white dots over the bead
then 3 Rubino Dots directly onto the white
Then tiny dots of any colour that reacts over the rubino - in this case lapis
Melt flat and spot heat the flowers in turn -  take a pokey tool and plunge into the centre of your dots - this pulls the flowers into the middle, melt flat again and if using a press - press!

If you dont have it already then Sarah H's Think Pink is a GREAT tutorial - she gives lots of colour combinations and explains why they do what they do - and all my pansy beads have been born after reading her tutorial -with playing further and experimenting with colours.

My explanation is not great -many people know how to do these - feel free to add any tips everyone :)

Hope that helps x

Wishing Wells Glass

Thanks for sharing that, Emma :)

If I may ask one question though:  I can't for the life of me figure out how everyone's designs stay so nice if they press AFTER they add the decoration.  Mine always go all stretched out and weird looking :(  Any tips?

Thanks!

You are welcome Shahlaa - you'll have to post the results :)

Wishing Wells- I dont know - I always use Rubino over white - and the petals spread, no matter what base I have used (so far) or what colour I have used on top of the Rubino - All of these have been made the same way - but the newest - top ones have been made with CIM Cranberry Pink - its so bright!

The trick I think with these is to let the glass get really hot - not to droop but to move a little so the petals spread. I'm not very good at explaining things lol!
