the bluebird is described on www.paragonkilns.co.uk/kbea.htm.

you could lay shelves inside but remember the max temp is only 650C. you could use the cheaper sc2 fibre shelves with a bit of kiln paper? the ceramic fibre is slightly different, although you wouldn't know. it makes the kiln a lot lighter than using firebricks.
