has anyone tried this and if you use punches with finer lines/shapes i.e a butterfly with its antenna would the antenna burn out?

i have some of the punches wont cut the copper especaliy the more intracate ones the heart shaped one works well when i encased them my beads cracked but i put copper into fusing all the time and it works really well
