The Minor Burner is a surface mix 7 port torch that runs on propane and oxygen or natural gas and oxygen. It is made by Nortel Manufacturing
Nortel Minor Burner
Developed by Peter Norton in the 1950's it is a well liked torch frequently used for making beads and small scale sculptural work, primarily designed for soft glass
Recommended operating pressures:
- Gas : 0.25 to 5 psi
- Oxygen : 5 to 15 psi
Cleaning and Maintenance
All that is required is for the tubes to be cleaned with the fine needle that is supplied with the torch.
